2 days and 22 hours of driving we got our first look at the Mississippi river. I wanted to see the takeout Jenny will be using next month. St Cloud is 420 river miles from the rivers source. We will both take out here. I'll start again here, after a few days off. Tomorrow we will scout Grand Rapids MN. We will probably spend a couple of nights in a hotel there, and we'll need to resupply. Tomorrow night we'll be staying with my sister Pat a few hours north of here in Wisconsin.
