U1274 Got going at 830 this morning. I think that will probably be our routine. We get up at 6 and get going. You might think that 2 1/2 hours is pathetic. Well, it probably is but eating, breaking camp, and packing the boats is pretty time consuming. There is one member of this group that has higher standard of personal upkeep the the rest of us ie me. So we paddled across a couple of lakes today. We pulled over and visited a grocery store in Bemidji MN. We portaged around one dam and got to camp pretty early. I made coucous for dinner. I added a bunch of junk to it to give it personality. Hot sause helps when you're eating coucous + junk
