Schoolcraft State Park

U1203. We paddled through mostly marsh again today. There was pretty good flow and we still had the northwest wind pushing us along. We decided to stop here at the state park because it wasn't quite so primitive as the place we had planned on. We got in here at 12:30 so we have had most of the day off. The park is named after the dude who, with the Indians help found the source of the river in 1832. We had a surprise rain shower at around dinner time and I got a chance to put up my emergency shelter. What fun! I cooked in it and I coaxed Mrs. Sippy into joining me for dinner in it.  Out of Battery, gotta go.
