Jenny got me launched at 8. For some reason I was nervous about going through the locks. Turns out it's pretty easy. You approach the lock, pull on a string, and follow instructions given via loudspeakers. I did 3 locks today. It cost me some time. (It takes about 10 minutes to fill and another 10 to drain the lock) consequently I only did 27 miles. I need to average 35 to finish before November. I passed through St Paul and took a pic. The other one was taken in a lock.
