Attitude adjustment

U638 This is change 2 to plan B. I have decided that the source of my frustration is the time constant that I more or less placed on myself. I'm retired, I've got a lot of time. Jenny has told me for years that the journey is more important than the destination. I'm through worrying about miles. I will keep the pointy end of my kayak pointed down stream and Seth said "I will eventually get somewhere". I keep forgetting that I'm retired. In my previous career (that can't be named) time was everything. I'm still in withdrawal. OK enough. I had a head wind all day. I did lock # 9. I paddled by a coal powered power plant and there was an enormous clam shell shovel emptying a barge of it's coal. Duck season must have started because it sounded like war had broken out when the sun came up. Jenny has found a hotel for me not far from here. I should be there tomorrow.

  2. You are right Dave, when you are retired, time is non existant, because there is always tomorrow, or the next day, enjoy your noc of luxury. Pat

  3. Dave, good idea with timing realization. Enjoy the journey. Don't put artificial constraints on yourself.
Remember in retirement no more holidays or weekends.
