U599 Great day today. Cool temp, gentle tail wind. I was rested, refreshed, well fed and beered. I felt so good this morning I pushed it a little. I was smoke,n baby. 4 MPH. I'm sure a small dog could have water skied behind me. (Maybe not slalom). I did lock 10 (only 19 left) and pulled into a park at Cassville WI, where I saw a BP station. They didn't have any pickles. I've got stock in that frigging company and they can't sell me a frigging pickle? Well, I really wanted a pickle. I kind of wanted to get under 600. I did 34 miles but the conditions were about as good as they've been. All I need is some current. That's really not asking much. This is the Mississippi river. It's supposed to flow not just sit there. If it just sat there they'd call it a lake. I'm just say'n. I did find out something today. My iPod will play it's radio feature for 6 hours and 20 minutes before battery depletion. So do I want to start or finish listening to the radio? That's a hard one. I'll have to sleep on it.
