We are cooling are heals for a few days at Pat's house in Wisconsin. I will probably be Back on the water the 9th or 10th. I decided to come up with a few statistics for the portion Jenny & I did as a team. We paddled 420 miles in 24 days. We only got lost once. We didn't know where we were most of the time but I don't consider that lost. Jenny lost one earring and a watch. We had 8 portages, none of them pleasant. I'm currently wearing 4 band-aids on my hands. Jenny bent her rudder. I broke the handle on the front of my boat and then broke the handle on the front of Jennys boat. We drank 2 Bottles of Bourbon and one bottle of tequila. Jenny only made one clothes purchase. We used 357,000 paddle strokes. Jenny could star in a commercial for Ab-flex. I somehow poked a small hole in the bottom of my boat. I patched it but as you can imagine this is a source of some concern. Last stat. Jenny's left butt cheek was a source of some discomfort (tmi?) She's not going to be happy when she reads that so don't mention it. Ever!
