L 705 Near record high temp today in Memphis. That meant winds from the south and damned if I am not headed south. I didn't start paddling until 11 because the gate to mud island didn't open until 10 and Jenny's flight didn't leave until 7 pm. It's now 7:15 and she is on the plane, so our Memphis link - up has been totally successful. Plans have been coming together on this adventure. Will the hammer fall? If it's going to it better happen soon because I'm going to New Orleans.
