U1144 The river changed it's personality today. We padded through dense Forest with some high banks in places. The swamp is behind us maybe and we are now in a river. The color of the water has turned brown. The banks are muddy, they have been sandy for the last few days. We had a good current and mostly a tailwind. We are staying in a county park. I saw that this park had cabins for rent. I got one. It's 2 bunk beds (no mattresses), well water, and pit toilets. We just went for a walk after dinner. The mosquitoes are a biblical plague. We wondered why we were the only people in the park. If fact we have been alone every night at every campsite.
