U1124 I believe that I eluded to the fact that the river bank has changed from sand to mud. The word 'mud' doesn't Really describe the consistency of the soil along the bank. It's difficult to find a place to pull over that doesn't require snowshoes . When we got to our campsite this afternoon we had no choice. We plowed into the mud and unloaded the boats. After we were all squared away I took off my shoes and went for a swim just to get the big chunks off. The mosquitoes are not too bad here for some reason. They seem to be stupider that at our last camp. They land on exposed skin and just sit there for a few seconds. It's like they just won the lottery and they're thinking about what it means. Fatal mistake. These two pics are of our lunch break today and dinner tonight.
Now Dave, "big muddy" you knew you had to put up with some MUD somewhere, didn't you?
